A word from the Principal (Acting)
Charlotte Hills
Kia ora koutou,
I am immensely proud to be the acting principal of Te Kura o Pipitea.
When you walk into our learning community you will see a unique blend of individuals linked by a set of shared values, manaakitanga (caring), māia (courageous), auahatanga (creative).
Academic achievements for our ākonga are important, and equally crucial, is the ability to think critically, be creative, and use emotional intelligence. These skills will prepare our tamariki to navigate challenges and contribute positively to society. Each student at Te Kura o Pipitea is taught to understand their unique place in the world and the importance of adding value to this. We celebrate taking responsible risks, making mistakes, having fun together and being creative.
Choosing a school for your child is important. At Te Kura o Pipitea we offer a safe and inclusive family-centred learning environment. If you are starting to plan for your child’s transition to school please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Ngā mihi mahana,
Charlotte Hills
